DIY - Good as gold

Hallo Ihr Lieben,
die Sonne ist draußen und meine Laune ist gleich viel besser. Am Samstag haben wir das Wetter mit einen Bummel über den Flohmarkt am Leine-Ufer ausgenutzt und dabei hatte ich eine DIY-Idee, die ich schon in einigen Blogs gesehen hatte. Die wurde dann auch gleich mal in die Tat umsetzen.

finally the sun is shining and my mood is immediatly much better. On saturday we made the most of the great weather and stroll through the flea market. Along the way a great DIY idea which I saw some time ago on diverse blogs, came to my mind.

DIY Flower Lamp

Hallo Ihr Lieben,
heute ein ungewöhnlicher Post von mir. Ich bin vor ca. 10 Monaten umgezogen und irgendwie ist immer noch nicht alles komplett. Unter anderem bin ich schon lang auf der Suche nach einer besonderen Lampe, die aber auch nicht zu teuer ist. Schwierige Aufgabe. Diese DIY-Idee habe ich im Netz gefunden und fand sie sofort toll für unsere Wohnung. Die Umsetzung ist günstig und einfach. Ich denke das wäre auch eine tolle Geschenke-Idee, vielleicht für eine Hochzeit. Was denkt Ihr, wie macht sich die neue Lampe in unserem Gästezimmer?

today my post is a little bit different than normally. I moved 10 months ago to a new apartment and it still doesn't feel complete. One thing that I missed and searched for was a cute and special lamp, which isn't that pricy. But that seemed like a mission impossible, so I decided to try a DIY idea I saw a while ago online. The doing is easy and it's cheap. I think it's also a great idea for a gift for example for a wedding. What do you think about my new lamp in our guestroom?

What you need: a lamp (Tchibo 10€), all-purpose glue, creped paper and scissors

Cut the creped paper into circles and fold them rough into flowers

Glue the creped paper flowers very close to each other on the lamp shade

Caviar on my nails

Endlich habe auch ich den Trend Kaviar Nägel ausprobiert und ich bin begeistert. Allerdings habe ich mir nicht den teuren Lack von Ciate gekauft, die Marke die Blogger abmahnt, wenn sie den Begriff "Caviar Nails" in DIY benutzen. Ich habe mir einfach Mircoperlen / Microkugeln bestellt und es mit einem schwarzen Nagellack von Essence nachgemacht. Insgesamt habe ich dafür 2 € bezahlt. Ich habe nicht alle Nägel damit gemacht, damit man den Unterschied zwischen glänzendem Lack und matten Perlen noch besser erkennt. Ich finde es sieht total edel aus. Was meint ihr zu diesem Trend?

Finally I tried the trend egg fish nails and I'm enthusiastic about the result. I bought online mircobeads and a black nail polish which costs me in total 2€. I wasn't using the nail polish from Ciate because they were trademarking the term 'Caviar manicure/Caviar nails' and forbidden bloggers to use it in DIY manis.

On each hand I just have two nails in the caviar look, because I think the difference between the high glossy nail polish and the matt microbeads is quite awesome. What do you think about this trend?
