Seasons in the sun

Hallo meine Lieben,
gestern und heute hatte ich frei und genug Zeit um die tolle Sonne zu genießen. Und das geht natürlich nicht ohne eine passende Sonnenbrille und ein Sommerkleid. Ich gehe jetzt hier auf ein Straßenfest mit Live-Bands und viel Bier. Was macht Ihr bei dem tollen Wetter?

yesterday and today I had two days off work and had enough time to finally enjoy the sun and the great weather. And of course it's even better while wearing a summer dress and mirrored glasses. I'm going to party now at a local street festival with some live bands and many beer. What are you doing or/and wearing with weather this great?

Scarf laying love

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

es gab schon viele Trends mit Layering in der letzten Zeit: bracelet layering, necklace layering usw. Was mich im Moment fasziniert, weil es auch noch total kuschelig und warm ist, ist Scarf Layering. Ich habe dazu zwei Schals, die farblich gut harmonieren mit unterschiedlichen Mustern, aus meinem Schrank gesucht und ineinander verschlungen.

 

Den Pashmina Schal habe ich vor zwei Jahren zu Weihnachten bekommen. Ich hatte mir einen "besonderen" Schal oder ein Tuch von meiner Mama gewünscht und dann am Heiligen Abend bekam ich diesen Pashmina Schal. Nur diesen Schal. Und zunächst war ich irgendwie enttäuscht, nicht weil ich ihn nicht schön fand, sondern weil ich die Qualität nicht zu schätzen wusste und meine Schwester neben mir ein Geschenk nach dem anderen auspacken konnte. Kurz danach kam mein Vater zu mir und sagte, dass meine Mom danach ca. 2 Monate im Internet gesucht hatte und er wirklich wahnsinnig teuer war. Zu der Zeit war meine Mutter gerade ohne Arbeit und ich merkte erst wie viel Mühe sie in mein Geschenk gesteckt hatte und wie lange sie dafür gespart haben musste und wie undankbar ich eigentlich war. Seit dieser Erkenntnis ist dieser Schal eines der "besondersten" Teile in meinem Schrank ;-)

during the last season, there were a lot of trends about layering, like bracelet layering, necklace layering and so on. The layering trend that currently fascinates me the most, is scarf layering. I just choose two scarfs with different patterns but in the same color range and kind of twist them into each other.

This pashmina scarf I got it two years ago for christmas. I had wished for a somehow "special" scarf from my mom and on christmas eve I got this pashmina scarf. But only that scraf. And first of all, I was kind of disappointed, not because I didn't like it, but I just couldn't appreciate the good quality and I was kind of jealous because my sister was unwrapping one present after another. Two days later my father told my, that my mother really invest lots of time and money in my present. During that Christmas my mother was without work and I slowly realized that she neither spare cost nor effort to buy me this present. Since this time, this scarf is one of the most "special" pieces in my whole closet ;-)

Hallo Ihr Süßen,

today just a really short blogpost because at the moment my life is really kind of stressful. But I just couldn't keep my new top back from you any longer :-))) It combines two major fall trends: leather and spikes. What are your fall favorites in this year?

Black leather pants breaking the rules

Nach euren tollen Kommentaren zu meinem letzten Post, dachte ich wage ich mehr :-) Ich trage eine Lederhose bzw. eine gewaxte schwarze Jeans. Erst war ich ganz lange am überlegen, ob ich so etwas tragen kann, weil das so ziemlich das Erste ist, was man als kurvige Frau gesagt bekommt: "Keine glänzenden Materialen, die betonen die vermeintlichen Problemzonen". Aber egal, vielleicht ist die Hose nicht die Vorteilhafteste, aber ich finde sie richtig toll. Gerade die Mischung mit eine längern Strickjacke nimmt der Hose jeden vielleicht anrüchigen Touch (den man Leder manchmal nachsagt) und bildet aus meiner Sicht einen tollen Kontrast. Was meint ihr?


Because of all your nice comments on my last post, I thought let's risk even more ;-) Yes I'm wearing leather pants or better a waxed black jeans. I considered so long if I could wear this kind of pants, because the first thing every curvy girl is told: "Don't wear shining materials, it will highlight your problem areas!" But who cares? I really like this pants especially in combination with this long cardigan in nude. It dress the pants down and give the outfit a nice contrast. What do you think?
