Barock pants in jacquard

Hallo meine Süßen,
was haltet Ihr von dem aktuellen Barock/Jacquard Trend? Ich finde Ihn toll, allerdings trifft er mich in einer Phase in der ich schlichte und pure Designs bevorzuge. Also ist diese Hose irgendwie das höchste der Gefühle ;-)) Kennt Ihr das, je unruhiger das Leben, desto aufgeräumter die Wohnung und schlichter die Kleidung?

how do you like the barock trend with jacquard patterns? I really like it, indeed it hits me in a phase I prefer pure and simple designs. So this pants are the highest high at this moment in my life ;-)) Have you been there, when your life becomes stormy and some kind of chaotic, you need a tidy apartment and comfy and simple clothes?

Glamour Shopping Week

Hallo meine Lieben,
die letzte Woche war eine gute für die Fashion-Welt und leider wieder mal eine schlechte für mein Portemonnaie. Während der Glamour Shopping Week fällt es noch schwerer sich zurückzuhalten. Aber ich bin nicht die Einzige, überall in der Stadt diese geilen Pärchen-Gespräche! Frau: "Ja, aber guck mal wie viel ich spare, wenn ich es jetzt kaufe!" Mann: "Schon mal überlegt wie viel du sparst, wenn du es gar nicht kaufst?" Mhhhhhhh.... NEIN ;-) Was habt Ihr euch gekauft?

this past week was a good one for every fashionista but a really poor one for my purse. During the Glamour Fashion Week it's even more difficult for me to contain myself. And it's not just me, everywhere in the city you can hear this kind of funny couple discussions! Woman: "Don't you get it, I can save so much money if I'm buying it now!" Man: "Have you ever thought about how much you can save if you aren't buying it at all, don't you get that?" Mhhhh, let me think about it...... NO ;-)

My fun day: Saturday

Hallo Ihr Lieben,
mein allerallerallerliebster Tag der Woche ist Samstag. Ich tue nur Dinge die mir gefallen. Spät aufstehen, auswärts frühstücken, ein bisschen bummeln, unterwegs nen Chai Tea aufgabeln und weiter den Tag geniessen. Das beste Gefühl: Ich kann etwas machen, alles hat noch offen, ich muss aber nicht ;-)) Welches ist euer liebster Tag?

my most favorite day of the week is always saturday. I'm just doing stuff that I like. Waking up late, having brunch outside, strolling around the city, en route catching up a chai tea and just enjoying the day. The best about saturday: I know I could go for everything, because all the stores are open and I got plenty of opportunities, but I don't have to do anything ;-)) What's about you, which one is your favorite day?

Curves in denim: The colored jeans

Hallo Ihr Süßen,

heute geht es endlich weiter mit meine kleinen Post-Reihe "Curves in denim", diesmal mit einer farbigen Jeans. Ich habe jetzt schon ein bisschen Angst vor sieben Outfits ohne dieses Material ;-) Wie viele Tage in der Woche tragt ihr etwas aus Jeans?

It's all smoke and mirrors!

Hallo meine Lieben,
ich weiß, Ihr wollt bestimmt etwas vom Bon Prix Design Camp lesen und sehen, leider müssen die ganzen Bilder noch ein bisschen sortiert werden, aber soviel kann ich schon sagen: Es war großartig. Bon Prix hat wirklich weder Kosten noch Mühen gescheut! Mehr davon schreibe ich euch Ende dieser Woche.
Auch wenn das Wochenende toll war, musste ich immer wieder über Schubladen und Labels nachdenken. Ist Plus Size ein "Label" mit dem ich mich wohlfühle? Bin ich eher ein Inbetweener? Würde ich mich auch bei einem Design Camp für "Straight"-Kollektionen gut fühlen? Möchte ich überhaupt in eine "Gruppe" kategorisiert werden? Ist dieses Schubladen-Denken richtig und wichtig oder schränkt es uns eher ein?

I know, you probably want to see and read something about the Bon Prix Design Camp, but I've got so many pictures which needs to be sorted first. I just want to say so much right now: It was great. Bon Prix neither spared cost nor effort! But more about that at the end of this week.
Even though this was an amazing weekend, I had to brood over labels and stereotyped thinking over and over again. Is the "label" plus size something I feel comfortable with? Am I rather an inbetweener? Would I also feel good while participating in a design camp for "straight" fashion? Do I want to be categorize in any "group"? Is this stereotyped thinking important and right or does it just restrict us?
