Shoegasm: The glitter and spike overkill

Hallo Ihr Lieben,
eigentlich wollte ich wie einige andere meiner Lieblings-Bloggerinnen den Januar abstinent leben und mir nichts kaufen. Nachdem ich euch in meinem letzten Post schon meinen neuen Pulli gezeigt habe, ahnt ihr wahrscheinlich schon, dass ich das nicht so ganz geschafft habe.
Am Montag wollte ich eigentlich nur für eine Leserin nach den Boots schauen und da sah ich sie. Diese absoluten "Titten auf Toast"-Heels und ich konnte nicht anders. Egal wie sehr ich mich auch zierte und nichts kaufen wollte, den Heels und mir war von vorn herein klar, das wir gemeinsam nach Hause gehen werden. Und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf wärmere Temperaturen.

PS.: Ebenfalls viel Glitzer hatte die Clutch, die ich Ende des letzten Jahres verlost habe. Gewonnen hat sie Kate und die Post hat sich auch erst mal 2 Wochen Zeit genommen das Päckchen zu zustellen. Diese Zeit wollte ich erst einmal abwarten. Kate ich wünsche dir ganz viel Spaß mit der Glitzer-Clutch!

actually I wanted to live abstinently in January without any kind of shopping, like some of my favorite bloggers do this month. After my blog post yesterday with my new sweater you probably already guess that I couldn't make it.
On monday after work I was just looking if these boots were still available, because one of my readers would like to have them and then I saw these sandals. These "tits on toast"-heels. And I was lost. No matter how strong I tried not to buy them, in the moment we met, the heels and me just knew that we would go home together. I'm so looking forward to spring.

PS. Kate won my little give away (the gold sequins clutch). Have fun with it, sweetheart! ;-)

Spikes, Spikes, Spikes

Hallo meine Süßen,
ich freue mich so sehr über 500 Leser. Das ist so unglaublich, danke das Ihr den Quatsch hier lest und anschaut ;-)))) Ich habe einen tollen neuen Pulli von Primark mit lauter Nieten drauf und da ich meine Boyfriend-Jeans im Winter immer so sehr vermisse, dachte ich scheiß aufs frieren, ich kombiniere das jetzt. Hoffe euch gefällt das Outfit und es war das Arsch abfrieren wert :-)

Somehow it's really unbelieveable to me ;-))) I've got a new Primark sweater with lots of spikes and because I miss my boyfriend jeans since it's winter here so much, I thought screw freezing, I want to combine these two pieces. I hope you like the combination and it was worth freezing my ass off :-)

Plus Size Wish List

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

ich weiß, dass ich so etwas zwischen "straight" und "plus size" bin, gehöre wohl eher zu der Gruppe der "Inbetweeners" :-) wenn man in Schubladen denken möchte. Nichtsdestotrotz ärgert es mich, dass Plus Size Kollektionen meistens sehr unauffälligen und eher langweilige Kleidungsstücke haben. Einige Marken mit einer Plus Size Kollektion scheinen wirklich nicht zu wissen, was kurvige Frauen tragen wollen. Ich hoffe zumindest, das dass die Begründung ist, die alternative Begründung wäre, dass diese Marken denken das andere, auffälligere Kleidung für kurvige Frauen nicht angemessen seien und diese Begründung macht mich wirklich wütend. Was mich auch wütend macht ist, das Plus Size Frauen immer wieder die selbe Tunika (oder was auch immer) als besonders modern verkauft wird. Bei kurvigen Frauen scheinen Tops mit Muster schon eine überaus mutige und modische Sache zu sein, so ein scheiß Quatsch. Ich will auch Nieten, Pailletten und Leder. Ich will alles was dünne Mädchen auch kaufen können. Und ich brauche die Klamotten nicht, ich will sie.

Katrin hat gerade eine Aktion die "Plus Size Wish List" gestartet, da musste ich natürlich gleich mitmachen. Es geht darum zu zeigen was für Klamotten man sich in einer Plus Size Kollektion wünscht.

I know that I'm something in the middle between "straight" and "plus size" and when I should start thinking in boxes I would consider myself to be an "inbetweener". Nevertheless it makes me angry that plus size collections most of the time have the same, boring pieces over and over again. Sometimes it seems to me that many brands doesn't seems to have a clue what kind of clothes plus size women really want to wear. I hope that is the reason, because an other motivation could be, that this brands think only those boring pieces are approriate of curvy women. And this motivation would make me very angry!

Hallo Ihr Süßen,

Three fashion trends in one outfit

erst einmal Danke an euch alle für die tollen und aufmunternden Kommentar. Am Samstag fühlte ich mich 3 cm größer :-) Ich habe die Fashion Week ein bisschen verfolgt und dabei sind mir drei Trends aufgefallen, die ich sehr schön und spannend finde. Ich habe sie mal zu einem Outfit kombiniert und wart auf den neuen Monat um Sie euch getragen zeigen zu können ;-)))

first of all thank you for your great and encouraging comments. On saturday I felt immediately 2 inches taller ;-) I watched a lot of the fashion week shows and collections online and there are three fashion trends of the upcoming saison that I really like. I combined these trends to my dream outfit for this fall, I just has to wait for the new month to start ordering the new clothes ;-)))



Three fashion week trends 2012: Skirt and pullover | Material Blocking | Sequins and shiny materials

Skirt and pullover:
Dieser Trend hat sich jetzt schon eine Weile abgezeichnet. Ist nicht mehr wirklich super neu und auch bereits in vielen Zeitschriften zu finden. This trend is already there. I like it, but I don't think it's totally new because you can already see this combination in magazins and on the streets.

Sequins and shiny materials | Deluxe materials:
Metallisch glänzende Materialien, die an raschelndes Bonbon-Papier erinnern und auch holografische Silberfolien werden die kommende Saison ein riesen Thema sein. Metallike shiny materials, that reminds you of crinkly candy foil wrapper and also material like holographic silver films will dominate the next saison.

Material Blocking:
Die logische Steigerung von Color Blocking aus der letzten Saison und Material-Mix in dieser Saison ist für die kommende Zeit das Material Blocking. Muster sind nicht mehr nur einfach aufgedruckt oder gewebt, sondern entstehen durch verschiedenster Stoffe und Materialien die zusammengefügt werden. The logical step-up of color blocking and material mix is in this upcoming saison material blocking. Patterns aren't just printed on the fabric any longer but rather emerge from the combination of very different fabrics and materials.

Autumn starters

Hi meine Süßen,
heute das erst so richtig herbstliche Outfit von gestern. Es ist zwar sehr sonnig zur Zeit, aber der Wind ist schon recht kühl. Den neuen gestreiften Pulli habe ich mit meinem Lederrock kombiniert. Ich muss wohl nicht schon wieder sagen, dass ich Material-Mix liebe ;-) So ihr Süßen, genießt den tollen Tag.

today I show you the first real autumn outfit from yesterday. At the moment it's really sunny outside, but the wind is already fresh. I combined my new striped pullover with my leather skirt. I just love the material mix. So my cuties, enjoy the beautiful and sunny sunday :-)

Paisley, animal prints, leather sleeves and spikes

Das ist meine neue Topshop und erste DaWanda und New Look Bestellung. Besonders dolle freue ich mich auf den Parka mit Lederärmeln. Ich suche danach schon über ein halbes Jahr. In Zara habe ich leider nicht reingepasst und bei New Look gibt es ihn bis Größe 46. Das Knotenarmband habe ich im Zuge einer Aktion von Lena über DaWanda gekauft. Mal sehen wann die Sachen kommen, wie sie aussiehen und ob sie alle passen. Kann es kaum erwarten euch Tragefotos zu zeigen.

That's my new Topshop and my first DaWanda and New Look order. I'm especially looking forward to get the parka with leather sleeves. I was searching for that piece actually over a half of a year. The one from Zara unfortunatelly didn't fit me, but this one from New Look you can buy up to size 18. I'm so curious about how the stuff looks and hopefully everything fits me. Can't wait to show you my new pieces in some outfits.
