90's Grunge meets Spice Girls

Hallo Ihr Süßen,
ich muss mich wirklich am Riemen reißen, damit ich dieses Kleid nicht jeden Tag trage. Der Schnitt und die Länge erinnern mich an Mel B von den Spice Girls und das Muster an Grunge und Kurt Cobain, es fehlt eigentlich nur das Karo-Hemd, welches ich locker um die Hüfte binde ;-)) Was haltet Ihr von dem 90's Revival zur Zeit??

I have to pull my socks up to not wearing this new dress every single day. The cut and length remind me of Mel B the ex band member of the Spice Girls and the batik pattern of the grunge back in the 90's and Kurt Cobain. What do you think about this 90's revival look?

Scarf laying love

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

es gab schon viele Trends mit Layering in der letzten Zeit: bracelet layering, necklace layering usw. Was mich im Moment fasziniert, weil es auch noch total kuschelig und warm ist, ist Scarf Layering. Ich habe dazu zwei Schals, die farblich gut harmonieren mit unterschiedlichen Mustern, aus meinem Schrank gesucht und ineinander verschlungen.

 

Den Pashmina Schal habe ich vor zwei Jahren zu Weihnachten bekommen. Ich hatte mir einen "besonderen" Schal oder ein Tuch von meiner Mama gewünscht und dann am Heiligen Abend bekam ich diesen Pashmina Schal. Nur diesen Schal. Und zunächst war ich irgendwie enttäuscht, nicht weil ich ihn nicht schön fand, sondern weil ich die Qualität nicht zu schätzen wusste und meine Schwester neben mir ein Geschenk nach dem anderen auspacken konnte. Kurz danach kam mein Vater zu mir und sagte, dass meine Mom danach ca. 2 Monate im Internet gesucht hatte und er wirklich wahnsinnig teuer war. Zu der Zeit war meine Mutter gerade ohne Arbeit und ich merkte erst wie viel Mühe sie in mein Geschenk gesteckt hatte und wie lange sie dafür gespart haben musste und wie undankbar ich eigentlich war. Seit dieser Erkenntnis ist dieser Schal eines der "besondersten" Teile in meinem Schrank ;-)

during the last season, there were a lot of trends about layering, like bracelet layering, necklace layering and so on. The layering trend that currently fascinates me the most, is scarf layering. I just choose two scarfs with different patterns but in the same color range and kind of twist them into each other.

This pashmina scarf I got it two years ago for christmas. I had wished for a somehow "special" scarf from my mom and on christmas eve I got this pashmina scarf. But only that scraf. And first of all, I was kind of disappointed, not because I didn't like it, but I just couldn't appreciate the good quality and I was kind of jealous because my sister was unwrapping one present after another. Two days later my father told my, that my mother really invest lots of time and money in my present. During that Christmas my mother was without work and I slowly realized that she neither spare cost nor effort to buy me this present. Since this time, this scarf is one of the most "special" pieces in my whole closet ;-)

Curves in fake fur

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

ich stehe seit einiger Zeit total auf Fake Fur Westen. Ich weiß was man sagt, kurvige Frauen sollten Fell nicht tragen, weil dies zusätzlich aufträgt. Aber eigentlich war mir das ab dem Moment, als ich diese Weste das erste Mal anprobiert habe, sofort total egal. Ich liebe den Look. Was meint Ihr?

PS.: Ich habe vergessen zu sagen wie lange meine Weihnachts-Verlosung geht. Ihr habt bis zum 24.12. Zeit um teilzunehmen. Damit das Geschenk auch hoffentlich pünktlich zu Silvester bei euch ist :-)

since quite some time I'm totally into fake fur vests. But of course I exactly know, all the reasons why this kind of piece shouldn't be worn by a curvy woman like me. Whatever, since the first time I tried this vest on, I knew, I love this look and I don't care what I should wear or not. How do you like my outfit?
