diesen Monat ist das Thema des POD's "Style dich wie deine Mode-Ikone!". Ich liebe den Style von Beyonce, Kim Kardashian und auch Sienna Miller, aber ich denke, wenn ich wirklich auf der Suche nach einem aktuellen, ausgefallenen und ungewöhnlichen Look bin, dann suche ich nach Streetstyles von Rihanna. Ihre Outfits sind meist sehr cool, lässig und trotzdem sexy. Ich weiß, sie ist nicht unbedingt immer "gut" angezogen, aber ich würde Sie als meine Mode-Ikone bezeichnen, weil Sie mich immer irgendwie inspiriert. Welche sind eure Mode-Ikonen?

this month's topic of the POD is: "Style yourself like your fashion icon!". I love the styles of Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and Sienna Miller, but I think, if I'm really searching for a fashion forward, eccentric and extraordinary look, I google the streetstyles of Rihanna. Her outfits are most of the times very cool, laidback but also sexy. I know she isn't always best dressed, but I call her my fashion icon because she always inspires me in some way. Meeting Maritime

Hallo meine Süßen,
einige deutsche, kurvige Modebloggerinnen haben eine tolle Einladung zu einer Veranstaltung von Sheego am 6. September bekommen. Ich freue mich wirklich riesig auf das Event und vor allem darauf einige der tollen Mädels wieder zu sehen. Insgesamt gibt es 40 Plätze für den kostenlosen Mode- und Styling-Workshop inklusive professionellem Fotoshooting und anschließender Party auf einem Schiff im Hamburger Hafen.
Um euch ein Platz zu sichern , könnt Ihr zum sheego Styling-Truck bekommen, am 9. Juli 2013 startet in München die Roadshow, dort könnt Ihr euch stylen und fotografieren lassen, um euch auf einen der begehrten Plätze im Workshops zu bewerben. Ich würde mich riesig freuen viel von euch dort zu sehen, ich werde wohl in Hamburg beim Styling-Truck einmal vorbei schauen. ;-)

Hi my sweets,
some german, curvy Fashion Blogger got a great invitation to an event from sheego on the 6th September. I'm really looking forward to this event and I'm really happy to see some of my sweet girls there again. It's a styling and fashion workshop with a professionel photo shoot followed by a party on a boat in the harbor of Hamburg.
You still have the opportunity to participate, you just need to come to the sheego styling truck which will stop in 5 german cities. Good luck girls. Really hope to see some of you there.

Tweed and neon

Hallo Ihr Süße,
ich habe von Via Appia eine richtig tolle Jacke bekommen. Es ist wohl keine Geheimnis, das ich auf Tweed bzw. Chanel Look-Alike Jacken einfach stehe. Und die Jacke ist wirklich super weich, bequem und zudem noch in neon ;-)) Dazu meine neue Acid-Washed destroyed Boyfriend Jeans und mein Tag kann nur gut werden.

I got a really great jacket from Via Appia. It's not a secret that I'm really into tweed Chanel-Look-Alike jackets. And this one is really soft, comfy and in neon ;-)) It's got to be a great day with this jacket in combination with my new acid washed destroyed boyfriend Jeans.

Hallo meine Schätze,
wenn ich mich nicht ganz unabsichtlich verzählt habe, ist dies mein Siebtes und damit erst einmal letztes Outfit so ganz ohne Jeans. Und ich muss wirklich sagen, es war eine Herausforderung und ich glaube ich werde mir so schnell nicht wieder selbst so einen Zwang auferlegen. Vor allem nicht wenn es um Jeans geht ;-))))

if I haven't miscount unintentionally, this is my seventh outfit in a row without any kind of denim and for now the last. And I really have to say it was a hard challenge for me and I don't really want to limit myself in this way again in the near future. Especially not when it comes to jeans ;-)))))

Head over heels

Hallo meine Lieben,
wenn es um Schuhe, insbesondere um High Heels geht, schaltet sich in meinem Kopf jeder logische und praktische Gedanke aus und meine tierischen Hamster-Instinkte werden wach. Und ich höre mich dann selber dumme Sachen sagen wie: "Egal ob Sie passen oder nicht, ich muss sie einfach haben!" Bei welchem Kleidungsstück kommt euer anormales Ich zum Vorschein?

when it comes to shoes, in particular to high heels, my head switch off even roughly logical or practical thoughts and my animal gatherer instinct is awaken. And I hear myself saying stupid sentences like: "I don't care if this shoes fit me, I just have to have them!" Which clothing pieces uncover your abnormal alter ego?

Seasons in the sun

Hallo meine Lieben,
gestern und heute hatte ich frei und genug Zeit um die tolle Sonne zu genießen. Und das geht natürlich nicht ohne eine passende Sonnenbrille und ein Sommerkleid. Ich gehe jetzt hier auf ein Straßenfest mit Live-Bands und viel Bier. Was macht Ihr bei dem tollen Wetter?

yesterday and today I had two days off work and had enough time to finally enjoy the sun and the great weather. And of course it's even better while wearing a summer dress and mirrored glasses. I'm going to party now at a local street festival with some live bands and many beer. What are you doing or/and wearing with weather this great?
