Baby shopping in another way!

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

es wird fleißig ausgebaucht und seit ca. einer Woche fällt es mir schwer meine Schuhe selbst zu zu machen, aber ich fand es gibt Schlimmeres, als das sich jemand Anderes bücken muss und mir zu Füßen liegt;-))

Allerdings sehen meine Füße und Hände seit gestern aus wie kleine aufgereihte Würstchen und dies ist ein Zustand (ja, ich weiß viele Schon-Mami's werden sagen: Da hast du doch noch Glück...) den ich wirklich nur schwer ertragen kann. Was ist mit all meinen schönen Sommerschuhen???? Ich mag Füße normalerweise nicht, aber meine eigenen finde ich "normalerweise" eigentlich ganz niedlich. Jetzt sehen sie aus wie Bärentatzen. Da ich mir auch sicher bin, dass dies mit zunehmender Hitze schlimmer statt besser wird, war heute mein einziger Trost, sich in grenzenloses Schuh-Shopping zu stürzten. Daher der etwas andere Baby-Shopping-Haul ;-))

Love is everywhere | Fashion Week Outfit 2014

Hallo meine Lieben,
für mich gibt es immer ein Problem bei der Auswahl meiner Outfits für die Fashion Week. Man möchte natürlich besonders toll aussehen und auffallen durch einen tollen Style. Auf der anderen Seite läuft man sich die Hacken wund und muss jederzeit viel Zeug mit schleppen. Keine unpraktischen Sachen wie: Clutches, High Heels, super großer schwerer Schmuck usw. Dieser Overall war für mich dieses Jahr der beste Kompromiss: Bequem und doch besonders :-)))

every year before fashion week I'm facing the same problem: Of course I want to wear something really special and want to look great. But on the other hand during Fashion Week you run your feet off and carry stuff like you camera, cell phone and lots of bags. Therefore you need a good compromise between comfortable and suitable for the Fashion Week. This was my compromise this year.

Shorter hair, longer cardigan!

Hallo meine Lieben,
ich bin wieder blond und habe viel kürzere Haare. Für mich immer noch ungewohnt und ich trauere ihnen auch noch ein bisschen hinterher. Ich weiß eigentlich gar nicht so genau warum, aber was meine Haare angeht, bin ich eher schwierig und richtig feige. Ich finde mutige Frisuren und Farben so toll, aber ich selbst würde mich das nicht trauen. Wie ist das bei euch?

I cut my hair and I'm a blonde again. For me it's still totally unfamiliar and I kind of mourn after my long curls. I don't know why but when it comes to my hair, I'm somehow difficult and faint-hearted. Bold cuts and colors are great, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't dare it. What's about you?

My lemon experience

Hallo meine Lieben,
wie einige von euch wahrscheinlich bereits wissen, habe ich vor ein paar Wochen ein mysteriöses Paket von einem unbekannten Absender bekommen. Ich war total begeistert von dem Mailing mit dem Namen: "Lemon Experience" und super neugierig, wer wohl dahinter steckt.
Mittlerweile weiß ich, dass die tolle Überraschung von navabi ist und im Anschluss an einen weiteren tollen Brief, durfte ich mir noch ein Kleidungstück aus der Manon Baptiste Kollektion aussuchen. Ich habe mir diesen schwarzen Tellerrock mit einem Lederteil ausgesucht, der mir auf den Körper maßgeschneidert wurde.

Ich bin so glücklich mit meiner Wahl und habe das Gefühl mal etwas ganz anderes zu tragen. Er hat eine tolle Qualität, ist wunderbar weich und passt natürlich perfekt ;-)) Ich bin gespannt, was navabi als Nächstes so plant ;-))

as some of you may already know, next to some other curvy blogger, I got a mysterious parcel some weeks ago from an unknown sender. I was crazy about this great idea and so curious about this exciting mailing, all I knew was the name of this "mailing campaign": Lemon Experience.
Meanwhile the sender uncovered itself in an amazing letter, it is navabi. And they offered me to choose a piece from the new collection of Manon Baptiste. I chose this black full skirt with leather details. The best about it, it is custom-made for my individual body.

I'm really happy about my selection. I feel so feminine and cool in it. This skirt has an outstanding quality, is wonderful soft and comfy and of course it fits my body perfectly :-)) I'm really curious about navabi's next ideas ;-))

Lace and leather

Hallo meine Lieben,
ich habe gestern meinen Impfschutz auffrischen lassen und bin nun voll fertig. Nicht nur das meine Arme weh tun, nein, ich bin auch hundemüde. Aber nun ein bisschen was zu dem Outfit. Ich liebe die Idee ein zartes und sexy Negligee-Spitzenkleid mit groben Strick zu kombinieren. Um das Ganze noch ein bisschen cooler und rockiger zu machen, trage ich dazu eine Bikerjacke. Was sind Kombi's die Ihr dieses Jahr unbedingt ausprobieren wollt?

yesterday I had an appointment at the doctor to refresh my immunization protection and today I'm kind of done. My arms are hurting and I'm dog-tired. But enough of my condition. Something about this outfit. I love the idea of combining soft and sexy lace dresses with chunky knitwear. To make this look  additionally a little bit more "rock chick" I'm wearing it with my biker jacket. What are combinations you are thrilled to try in this year?

Chasing waterfalls

in Stressphasen überkommt mich immer das Gefühl, alles ein bisschen und leider nichts so ganz richtig machen zu können. Ein unbefriedigendes Gefühl. Diesen Blogpost zu koordinieren hat ewig gedauert, ich bin zu spät zur Arbeit gekommen und musste eine Verabredung mit Freunden verschieben. So geht es mir auch mit vielen anderen Dingen. Was zeigt euch oder woher wisst Ihr, für welche Dinge es sich lohnt auf etwas zu verzichten?

For example this blog post, I came to late for work and had to disarrange an appointment with friends to coordinate it. That just doesn't feel satisfactory. It's not just about this blog (between: It really became a very important part of my life), I feel often this way. How do you know something is worth the renouncement of other things?

River Island, my Kryptonite!

Hallo Ihr Lieben,
gestern Nacht überkam mich wieder dieses Kribbeln in den Fingern. Kennt Ihr das, Ihr legt alle Sachen, die Ihr schön findet, in den Warenkorb, nur um nachher festzustellen, dass es viel zu teuer ist und um ihn anschließend komplett wieder zu löschen. Das ging mir bei diesen Sachen ungefähr 4-mal so, in der letzten Woche. Das ist so ähnlich, wie wenn wir Frauen (mich eingeschlossen) in Zeitschriften diese Fragebögen "Wer bin ich? Was erwarte ich vom Leben? Bin ich bereit für ein Baby?" beantworten. Erst werden überall Kreuzchen gemacht, anschließend das unbefriedigende Ergebnis gelesen und dann ändern wir vorne einfach die Kreuzchen, sodass der Typ Frau rauskommt, für den wir uns eigentlich halten. Meine Lektion bzw. Botschaft von diesem ganzen Geschreibe ist im Prinzip, dass ich mich die ganze letzte Woche selbst verarscht habe. So wie mir mein Ergebnis in diesen Tests vorher klar ist, das ich aber nicht unbedingt hören will, war mir auch klar, dass ich mir diese Sachen früher oder später, ob nun in einer oder in zwei seperaten Bestellungen bestellen werde. Welche Shops machen euch ein bisschen unzurechnungsfähig?

do you know this itching to order clothes? You are placing countless beautiful pieces in your online shopping card, just to determine afterwards, that your order would be way to expensive and to delete your whole shopping card again. I have been there the last week for about four times with an order with River Island. Kind of simular to that, is the behavior of women (me included) while  answering one of this surveys in women's magazines like: "What's my real nature? What do I expect from life? Am I prepared for becoming a good mom?" First of all we are making everywhere our little crosses and answering this survey, afterwards we read the unsatisfactory result and then we start allover again and change all of our answers/crosses we made before. Basically my lesson and message of writing all of this is, that I was brain fucking myself the whole last week. Just like I know that the unsatisfactory results of this surveys are probably true, I also knew right from the start that I'm gonna order this clothes someway someday. Which shops make you kind of mentally incompetent?

Just breath!

Hallo meine Süßen,
geht es euch auch so, dass die letzten zwei Monate vorm Jahreswechsel immer voll gepackt sind mit Terminen, Feiern und Plänen. Warum ist das eigentlich so? Ergibt sich das einfach so oder steckt vielleicht doch mehr dahinter? Ist für euch Neujahr auch ein Neuanfang? Ein Abschluss vor dem Ihr Dinge noch zu Ende bringen wollt? An so stressigen Tagen hilft für mich nur ein Spaziergang und einmal tief Durchatmen!
